Share your love for the water and commitment to water safety in a pool-based family clinic. Join Team WaterStrong to deliver essential life skills in water safety, survival swimming and environmental education around water in a transformative, safety-forward approach.

Volunteers ages 12+ (especially Spanish speakers) deliver the WaterStrong method in a safety-forward, fun, highly engaging afternoon.

Our clinics combine the essentials of water safety and survival swimming with environmental education around water. Clinics follow the WaterStrong curriculum and are led by volunteer instructors at community spaces where families naturally recreate. Participants gain essential water confidence and grow their love for the water by learning to assess the safety of a swimming location, learning to save themselves and someone else in the water, learning to care for the water and earth with beach and neighborhood cleanups.

Participants are age 5 - adult. Instructor:participant ratios are low, 1:1 - 1:3.

Volunteers receive a WaterStrong t-shirt, swim cap, stickers, light meal and a gift card of appreciation.
