WaterStrong programs destroy access barriers for underserved children and their families through programming in survival swimming, water safety and environmental education around water. Most of our programs are delivered in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan region. They include Swim! Learn! Thrive! Eco-Swim Clinics, basic first aid/CPR/AED training, lifeguard and water safety certification, and WaterStrong Instructor Workshops. We want you to fall in love with the water, have fun, and be safe. It is our goal to build up lifesaving skills, water education and awareness skills, and survival swimming skills.

To deliver these programs we rely on volunteers who love the water (no need to be a stellar swimmer), are comfortable teaching, and are great team players. Big bonus if you speak Spanish and/or live in a community that WaterStrong serves.
