Volunteer swim instructors ages 12+ (especially Spanish speakers) are needed for a pool-based clinic designed for families.

Our clinics combine the essentials of water safety and survival swimming with environmental education around water.  Clinics follow the WaterStrong curriculum and are led by volunteer instructors at community spaces where families naturally recreate. Participants gain essential water confidence and grow their love for the water by learning to assess the safety of a swimming location, learning to save themselves and someone else in the water, learning to care for the water and earth with beach and neighborhood cleanups. Participants receive a US Coast Guard certified lifejacket, safety whistle, new confidence and an indelible love for the water.
