International Walk the River Event at Broughton Beach Park

Walk with WaterStrong along the Columbia to show the world that the Columbia River is fantastic and deserves to be clean and protected! 

Join the WaterStrong Initiative as they partner with the Ballenas and Milwaukie Peahens (local wild swimming groups) for the International Walk the River event at Broughton Beach Park on May 11, 2024, 9:30-11:30a. This event is open to anyone who wants to join us for a beach cleanup along the beautiful Columbia River.

As we walk the riverbanks, we'll not only soak in the stunning scenery but also roll up our sleeves and tackle litter to keep our beloved river clean and pristine. Together, we can make a positive impact on our environment and protect the habitats of our local wildlife.
