Nike Community Impact Fund at OCF!

We are so incredibly honored to receive a $15,000 grant from the Nike Community Impact Fund at Oregon Community Foundation. This is our first NCIF impact grant and we are thrilled for the support of EcoSwim programs in water safety & water stewardship. This grant and our partnership with Bienestar made it possible to run a full summer program in Forest Grove and Hagg Lake in August, and will continue to nourish our Fall, Winter and Spring pool based programming. In August, we delivered the full-on comprehensive WaterStrong program: Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification, land-based water and boating safety training, in-water training, angler education, nature based art, environmental education, and to top it off, a day for the team who were pivotal to making it all happen, to just take a moment to quietly wind down at the lake, learn to SUP and kayak - some for the first time in their lives, and enjoy a picnic with new friends.

WaterStrong programs under this grant will continue through May 2026, so stay tuned for more!
